Variant warning

One supplier image also shows an Extra Large size measuring approximately 14.4 × 9 inches, but Extra Large does not currently appear in EPROLO’s available variant list. Do not advertise that size unless it is available inside your dashboard. 

Care Instructions

• Wash the tray before first use.
• Hand wash using warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge.
• Clean and sanitize the tray immediately after contact with raw meat, poultry, or seafood.
• Dry thoroughly before storing.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners and metal scrubbers that may damage the surface coating.
• Do not cut food directly on the tray.
• Do not place it over an open flame, stovetop burner, or heating element.
• Do not place it in the dishwasher unless EPROLO confirms dishwasher compatibility.

Good to Know

• Thawing time will vary according to food thickness, size, starting temperature, and room conditions.
• Thin, individually frozen portions will generally respond better than large roasts or whole poultry.
• Remove all external packaging before placing food on the tray unless the food-safety instructions for that product state otherwise.
• Wash hands, utensils, counters, and the tray after contact with raw food.
• Do not use the tray as a cutting board.
• The supplier does not identify the type of surface coating.
• Slight size and color variations may occur.

Critical food-safety note

This product must not be advertised as a replacement for recognized safe thawing methods.

The FDA and USDA advise that perishable food should be thawed:

• In the refrigerator
• In cold water
• In the microwave

They specifically advise against thawing meat or other perishable food at room temperature on a countertop. Food thawed in cold water or a microwave should be cooked immediately. 

I recommend placing this visible notice on the product page:

Food-Safety Notice: Follow FDA and USDA food-handling guidance when thawing perishable foods. Do not leave meat, poultry, seafood, or other perishable foods at room temperature to thaw. This tray is a food-preparation accessory and does not replace refrigerator, cold-water, or microwave thawing methods.

Because of this issue, do not copy EPROLO’s claims that the tray provides “safe thawing,” “prevents partial cooking,”or safely thaws thick meat on the counter within 30–60 minutes. Those statements are inconsistent with official US food-safety guidance.

One supplier image uses the phrase “aviation-grade aluminum alloy,” but EPROLO’s written description only says aluminum and provides no alloy number or certification.
