3. Place the ingredient flat over the cutting grid.
4. Lower the hinged press using steady, even pressure.
5. Allow the diced pieces to fall into the bowl.

For slicing, shredding, or grating

1. Install the required cutting insert.
2. Place the hand guard securely over the ingredient.
3. Move the ingredient across the cutting surface using controlled strokes.
4. Stop when the ingredient becomes too small to hold safely.

For rinsing and draining

1. Leave the prepared ingredients inside the removable basket.
